The entire neighborhood has fiber and the line continues past my house for about mile before stopping. The closest house officially on my road and not in the neighborhood that has fiber is just on the other side of the entrance from me at 500 ft distance. This would just get the fiber to the front of our house. I would have to pay the additional $5k to run a pipe + other work to get fiber from the street into the house..
